SafeRide Health’s Response To Novel Coronavirus 2019/COVID-19

In times of crisis, access to care is more important than ever. SafeRide Health is taking action to keep the communities we serve safe.

In times of crisis, access to care is more important than ever. SafeRide Health is taking action to keep the communities we serve safe. In response to the growing risks from COVID-19, our organization and network of high-quality NEMT partners are committed to operating and serving our health plan members and medical patients with the level of exceptional service they have come to expect during this rapidly evolving situation. Our customer call center continues to schedule rides for our clients, and our support team is actively engaged with our NEMT partners to ensure high-quality transportation services.

Due to the severity of the novel coronavirus 2019 we are advising all those who have ordered, or plan on ordering, transportation to their medical appointments to plan for an additional 15-30 minutes buffer before your expected pick-up time. This provides additional time for medical facilities to test patients, any members of their party, as well as drivers for the virus as they are entering medical facilities. We are carefully monitoring the evolving situation and working closely with our NEMT and rideshare partners to ensure a safe and healthy ride.

Safety starts with you.  We encourage everyone to practice all CDC-recommended hygiene measures before they enter and after they exit all transportation. For more information on the virus, please visit the Centers for Disease Control to learn how to prevent getting sick.

SafeRide Health will continue to share updates on how we’re responding to this evolving situation on our blog and social media through Twitter and LinkedIn. If you have any immediate questions or concerns please feel free to contact us via email at team@saferidehealth.com.
